He founded several companies during his studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. After completing his doctorate in European corporate law, he began his career in international law firms, specializing in corporate and tax law before being appointed as a notary in his hometown of Munich in 2009.
Through his work in Los Angeles, London and Milan, Martin Schwab has gained extensive professional experience in diverse cultural settings. Simon Weiler provides counsel to companies and private clients with a particular focus on limited liability company law, stock corporation law and reorganization law, as well as transactions.
After completing his legal studies, Simon Weiler was awarded his doctorate in law with a dissertation on corporate law. Prior to joining the Bavarian notary's practice in 2002, he gained experience in an international law firm, a leading strategic management consulting company and an automotive group.
Simon Weiler is the author of numerous publications on corporate law, including Widmann/Mayer Reorganization Law, Munich Handbook of Corporate Law Volume III (Limited Liability Company) and Volume VIII (Reorganization Law), Beck'sches Notary Handbook and Notary Handbook on Company Law. As a lecturer, he has extensive experience training notaries, lawyers, tax advisors and auditors in the areas of reorganization law, M&A, limited liability company law, stock corporation law and corporate succession.
